OUR STORY
For years, we felt like our talents were being wasted. We prayed for an opportunity to use our skills in a more meaningful way, and though it took nearly a decade, the Lord was preparing us all along.
During those years, we gained experience in ways we didn’t recognize at the time—working in retail and administration, learning accounting alongside family, building woodworking skills through projects in our own home. Our family’s timing also fell into place: the kids were at the right ages, finances shifted, and my mom was ready to retire and help me set up a system. Every piece was preparing us for something bigger.
It started small—with craft nights among friends and family. Then, after my sister in law Julie was invited to a neighborhood craft night, the idea for hosting our own began to grow. We prayed about it and decided to try. We asked a few friends and family members to host parties. It didn’t take long before things multiplied.
But we quickly outgrew the garage. With uncomfortable temperature changes and jobs that weren’t getting better, we knew it was time to take a leap of faith. We put our home up for sale, sold the rental house, and began searching. The process was long and difficult, but in 2017 we found our current house.
We moved in, relaunched parties in September. A few months later, Bryan’s store announced it was closing. The timing felt unmistakable. After weighing job offers that didn’t feel right, he was given a severance package and that night, we knew it was official: this was our chance to finally jump in with both feet.
What began with family craft nights has now grown into a business where people gather, create, and connect. Every step of our journey—from preparation, prayer, and patience—brought us here, and we’re so grateful to share it with you.
